About ASC

Associated Software Consultants, Inc. (ASC) develops and supports loan automation software solutions for the primary and secondary mortgage market. This has been our only endeavor since our founding in 1978. We attribute our steady growth throughout the years to our focus on lending software, which remains our only business.

Our mission is to provide ‘best of breed’ computer software and support services that enable lenders to improve the volume and quality of their lending business; to streamline workflow and reduce processing costs; to enhance their overall operation and improve their overall profitability; and to better serve their borrowers and other constituents.

It is our goal to develop software products that enable users to make changes to business functionality without programming or other vendor assistance; to let lenders choose and change operating systems, databases, deployment options and the other components of their IT infrastructure; and to construct them using leading development tools.

It is also our goal is to provide customers with “Service Beyond Expectations”. Toward this end, we provide outstanding support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day under the most comprehensive support agreement in the industry, and our skilled, trained and experienced professionals are here to help every step of the way.

Below are some of our historical highlights:

1978 ASC introduces the UNI-FORM® Loan Processing system. UNI-FORM is the first mortgage processing system to enable non-programmers to change the way the system requests borrower data, performs financial and other calculations, prints loan documents and reports, and transmits data to other computers.
1986 ASC ports UNI-FORM to a new platform: DOS-based personal computers (PCs) and PC Local Area Networks (LANs). This results in lending systems that are faster, more scaleable, better supported, and hence more efficient and affordable for users.
1988 ASC becomes one of the first companies in the nation to have staff members complete Novell’s Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE) training. To this day ASC takes an active role in the support of software operating systems, DBMSs, and a variety of other third-party hardware and software required by ASC’s lending applications.
UNI-FORM is named “Best of Class” in Loan Origination by The Microbanker Research Letter, an independent research publication that examines the use of PCs in various banking applications.
1991 The MARK II Secondary Marketing System becomes ASC’s first offering in the secondary marketing arena.
1994 The last UNI-FORM system based on mini-computers converts to a PC-based system. ASC provides full support for this much older technology, to protect our customers investment in ASC-developed systems.
1996 ASC introduces the PowerSeller® Secondary Marketing System. The release of PowerSeller represents the culmination of a three-year development effort.
1997 ASC introduces PowerSeller's Risk Manager, a breakthrough mortgage pipeline risk management system.
